NFL Week 5 Games

There were a lot of people on this board that said goff was a guaranteed bust and the Rams should dump him and go after jimmy g.
I said he didn't look good as a rookie myself. He's improved a lot.

What a horrendous time management by Dallas: 2-nd and 1, 90 seconds to go...instead of getting a first down, get it down to 45-50 seconds and have 4 tries to win the game, they get a TD and leave 1:13 left for GB to play with.

They deserve to lose.

Agree and Prescott looked like an idiot celebrating like that when giving the Packers plenty of time to tie or win the game. Dumb.

A game of keep-away/ hot potato to end it..lol @ Cowboys.

Dallas is Dumb. They got EE in the backfield with second and 1.5 and they pass. It should have been EE all the way till the clock read inside 20 seconds.

When I saw the Dallas player celebration. I said you guys are nuts.

Absolutely. McKay and that OC has spread some magic voodoo on Goff because he looks like a completely different QB than he did last year. He seems more confident and his passes are becoming more accurate.

I mean, I honestly don’t mind when people compare Rodgers and Brady. It’s fair to say Rodgers just has an unbelievable physical talent for the position that Brady has never completely had, but Brady has the mental edge - Rodgers seems to play “backyard football” at times. They’re both incredible. At the end of the day, one has 1 ring and the other has 5, but I still have to respect Rodgers.

What that idiotic playcall set up was too much time for GB to drive down the field. It was beyond stupid but not surprised given that the Cowboys coaching staff has absolutely no clue when it comes to situational football.

You burn down the clock and either win the game there or lose it there. What you dont do is let enough time (and a damn timeout !!!) over for the other team to tie up (or even win) the game.

That is easy to say watching the game and I don't necessarily disagree with you. But you need 7 to win. You get the 7 however you can. To many variables to make it that simple. Defense needs to make plays.

Yes but he has a ring. I am not buying the packers though but if they get HFA they could be tough at home.

Brady has 5 rings. If you didn't know. So the regular season MVP means nothing except for a trophy to put on your mantle to collect dust.

If they get home field advantage than look out. I think the falcons are the best team in the NFC but they have to show more.

I saw some of that Rams game and was surprised too, especially on that last drive where Goff legitimately threw the game winning touchdown on Seattle in the closing seconds and his receiver dropped it... been a huge improvement, but I guess it’s hard not to improve over Jeff Fisher.

Who cares? Honestly.

Don't mean a thing if you ain't got that ring.

You didnt need to edit it. Who gives a **** about MVP titles in general ? Anyone ever rewind that recording of the MVP ceremony as much as SB 51 or 49 ? Yeah..

Just saw the game winning FG highlight of AV. After nuclear destruction their will still be ****roaches and somewhere AV will be kicking FG's for eternity.

which team will he go into hof in...

In baseball the player gets to choose, wearing a cap of his choice.

A player simply enters the Pro Football Hall of Fame, without that specific team designation. A HoF player is normally listed with the team he was with for the majority of his career. If it is equal both teams are listed; this happened for example with Nick Buoniconti (7 years with Patriots, 7 years with Dolphins) and Mike Haynes (7 seasons with Pats, 7 with Raiders).

In Vinatieri's case he would technically be considered a Colt (12 seasons) rather than a Patriot (10 seasons) if forced to designate only one team.

Actually they now list a person on all the teams he was with (something relatively new as far as I know) on the Pro Football Hall of Fame website.

I love the talk about how long he can "last". I always respond with, "as long as he feels he can'". Brady is the outlier to end all outliers. There is NO ONE like him. EVER. But mediots want to continue to say that Father Time is undefeated. He is, but Father Time has never had an opponent quite like Brady.
When manning retires someone will say 'well its the end of the manning era'
When rothlessburger retires soneone will say..'well thats the end of the big ben era.'
When rives retires someone will say...'well thats the end of the rivers era'
When Brady retires they all will say ' thats the end of an ERA'

Dude. Did I say rodgers was better than brady? I said mvp candidate. The guy's a great QB. I don't know why people get up in arms. You have to admit though he has had crappy coaching. That defense's lousy as well. Would love to see a brady vs rodgers Super Bowl.

Its not ballwashing if the guy has earned it.. hes an incredible QB, deal with it. Hes not gonna overcome TB12 as the goat anytime soon so stop being so insecure

Rodgers is great, no doubt about it. However, the media try so hard to push him as Brady's equal. Manufactured debate, and that's what's the most annoying.
