There are some pretty good matchups on the schedule this week, starting with Washington at Philly on Thursday night.
Then there is Baltimore at Pittsburgh at the same time the Pats are on, and the big game is KC at Buffalo in the late afternoon time slot.
Let's see if Dallas can continue to self destruct in front of another national audience on Monday night.

Biggest mismatch: Jacksonville at Detroit
Best game: Kansas City at Buffalo
Worst game: Cleveland at New Orleans

Sunday Night: 4-6 Cincinnati @ 6-3 LA Chargers [-1½] (NBC; Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth; Melissa Stark)
Monday Night: 6-4 Houston [-7½] @ 3-6 Dallas (ESPN/ABC; Joe Buck, Troy Aikman; Lisa Salters)

Byes: 6-4 Arizona, 3-7 Carolina, 2-8 NY Giants, 4-6 Tampa Bay

Week 13 just became a likely victory for the Pats, and now I'm taking the Jets this week!

least we don't have to listed to spero dodoos and adam archuleta this week...

that KC / Buffalo tilt is going to be one hell of a second act on sunday

Lol another big AFC matchup is an afternoon game hijacked by CBS. This should be a primetime game.

This is why having way too many networks waters down the game and these networks picks games to protect.

At least KC-Buffalo is the only game on CBS in that time slot.

Many times there is a second game on at the same time, which means two tv markets get to watch their home teams - but miss out on the best game of the week.

Here is an example from last year, week 13.
8-3 SF at 10-1 Philadelphia on Fox.
There was also a second game on Fox, and one game on CBS.
Two markets got stuck with Browns at Rams. Tampa area only had one game to choose from: 1-10 Carolina at 4-7 Bucs.

? San Francisco @ Philadelphia - Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen
? Cleveland @ LA Rams - Kevin Kugler, Mark Sanchez
? NO GAME - Buccaneers enforcing blackout

Colts WRs are not going to be happy.

Eagles win big tonite. Part of the #1 seed conversation moving forward.

It's actually a good matchup tonight for 1st place in the East.

Amazon is probably shocked they ended up getting this matchup.

Washington with the early lead....Not surprised. Had an uneasy feeling about this game even though I picked Philly

Dan Quinn is not smart. Take the 3 points.
Daniels is good but hangs onto the ball too long. Too many bad sacks.
Eagles gonna run the ball kill the clock and ice the game.

Jayden looking quite pedestrian again

Daniels has definitely come crashing back down to earth.

Well he is still a rookie, he was bound to have a game like this. Overall , I think he will end up being very good

Yeah pretty much every rookie has games like that. Just think people were crowning him a little too early

Posted in offseason we should pay for Barkley or Henry and response was they cost too much!

The absurdity of thinking 5% of the cap for a player that can be 40% of an offense is too much is all kinds of dumb.

If Maye is 90% of the offense, then we can't fit another 40%?

All joking aside, Barkley became the 2nd highest paid running back coming off a down year and has a bit of an injury history. That being said I absolutely would have tried to sign him, but I think he was not coming here in ANY SCENARIO.

He would have taken less to go to Philly, and the Patriots offer was not going to set a ridiculously high new market for running backs. I just think they had zero chance of signing him, so the point is kind of moot.

At 30 years old, with Henry maybe you could have convinced him with more money, but at 30 he's likely looking to end his career winning a Super Bowl. He's having a great year with a great offense, but 30 year old running backs with his carer carries are high risk. He wasn't great with the Titans last year and would not be great behind the Pats line. He picked the absolute perfect place to go play.

Eagles-Chefs part 2 coming this February.
Ugh

Daniels has definitely come crashing back down to earth.
Teams have figured out his limitations and the Ravens set the blueprint. He has to prove he can throw to the middle of the field, prove he can process past the first read and a few other things. That's the NFL.

Which is why Maye is a generational prospect, he does it all well. Teams have tried blitzing, man, zone, spies, disguises. They have not found anything that consistently works, other than occasional dumb throw and below average wide receivers.

Daniels can't process well at all - and never did in college - does not have a strong arm, and dislikes throwing over the middle. Defenses just need to keep rush lanes, take away the first read, and give him middle throws vs to the outside. So far he hasn't shown he can beat it against good defenses. We will see if he improves. As a 5-year college player and soon to be 24 year old rookie he has a big hurdle to overcome. I hope he comes back next year and shows he can overcome his limitations. He's exciting player when he plays well; need more of those players in games.

Jayden Daniels had 32 pass attempts tonight and 24 of them were within five yards of the line of scrimmage.
