NFL Trade Deadline Rumors, including Bourne and Agholar

Chubb to New England for Carolina's 3rd and a 5th let not waste Judon's Great year. That would bring some serious heat on our Rivals from the Defensive side.
Rumor is that Denver wants as steep price- 2 first round picks for him. Do you still do that or kick the can down the road?

Lol how is that damning?
Because “People here were swearing Roquan would cost a 1st and change lol” and “1st round pick for him? Sign me up!” are two quotes from the same person. It’s completely hypocritical to call people out for overrating Smith’s value when the same poster has both overrated Smith’s value and advocated for being the team to pay that inflated price.

I would absolutely love to have Chubb in Foxboro....

But we would at minimum need to send out Algholor/Wynn or both just to be able to fit him under the cap for the final 9 games.

I would ship out Wynn and a 2023 first round pick for Chubb...then resign Chubb in March when we have more $$$$.

Never

Not going to get a first for a soon to be UFA. The cost of future contract takes away from players on field value

The only way I do 1 first is if an extension is agreed prior. 2 first are off the table. I would only pay multiple 1s for an established elite qb.

Isn’t it more damning that people advocated for trading a first round pick for him when his actual value was clearly far below that?
Far below wouldnt be how I describe the difference

I cant say what others were thinking but id go as far as a 1st for him, so a 2nd an 5th are good price for that priority bonus i mentioned previously

I dont want to start a fire, but ever since the Sanu trade, i feel like the Pats arent one step ahead of the game, like they usually do, regarding pro-players evaluation

Yes, i still cant believe we gave a 2nd round pick for him. Compare that to this trade... Gross misevaluation....

and when Chubb refuses to sign a sub-market deal in march?

Why would Bill trade a first rounder rather than drafting the next Cole Strange from the University of Tuscaloosa?

If there's an established tackle out there in a good contract situation I wouldn't mind the Pats trading draft picks for him, not the 1st obviously, there's a chance we will have a good spot in the draft, get another tackle there.

Good player. Reminds me of Faulk.

I don't think the Pats are in the running for Odell. I think he really wants to go to a contender and the only team that makes sense is Buffalo or maybe KC. GB, TB, and LAR were also rumored to be interested in him but they have not had good seasons.
This yeah that's the closest we'll come to seeing O'Dell him in our division.

That's not even close to Denver's reported asking price. Also, what does "not wasting the year" mean? Are we satisfied with just making the playoffs and immediately losing? Because that's probably the best we can do. No midseason trade is magically turning this team into a Super Bowl contender.

Bourne leapfrogged agholors last week and has another year on a team friendly deal. Agholor is the guy to trade
I don’t think any of the WRs get moved, especially if Parker’s injury causes him to miss time.

looks like Bradley Chubb isn’t going anywhere…
