It must really blow to be a Falcons fan knowing you’re on the losing end of the greatest NFL game ever played. This game will be shown and promoted forever. Years later it’s still treated as the premier example of how amazing the Super Bowl, and by extension the NFL, is/can be.

I was reasonably sure that day watching late in the 4th quarter that this would be the greatest game I’ll ever see in my lifetime, and that’s definitely held true so far. Don’t think it’ll change. I think even most non-Pats fans would agree. Only Pats haters don’t appreciate the wizardry on display.

That was the point where I thought "they might win this game."

After they forced the punt after Julio's catch, I figured "they're going to tie this game."

I don't think I made the "could" to "will" transition until they tied it up. Mainly because I was thinking that there was no way Atlanta could fail to eat so much clock it was just not possible. No way. Put every pas play back in the folder - that's it. Snap the ball at 1 second every play.

Not to stir up any ****, but looking at that series that ended with the strip sack, all I can think of now is TB/BB a few years later deciding on the next play v the Rams. "Kick the field goal .. game over."

Situational awareness ... and Atlanta truly was not aware.
