Just for clarification because I'm the one who said I didn't acknowledge hockey. I don't care if the Bruins were winning the Stanley Cup every year and the rest of our teams stunk. I would not watch one minute. I just flat out hate hockey, has nothing to do with them losing a lot.

As both a Patriots and a Bruins fan, I find that remark needlessly harsh.

There's no reason that one team (or sport) should be insulted while another is justly celebrated.

I can think of a few reasons hockey should be insulted, and I'd enumerate them for you (joke network, outrageous prices, poor management). This is a football fan message board, and it's possible people here either don't care about hockey or actively dislike it. In either case, your reaction seemed to me to be terribly sensitive.
