I wonder if the Broncos will want Osweiler back? Can't be that much worse than Siemien yes?

I think he emptied the gas can on his way out.

Yes but all they need to do is front load a couple of extensions for successful drafted players and FAs that become available in the next 3 years and it's done. Enough time left..

Well, that's just it. Successfully drafted players and the Cleveland Browns don't exactly go hand in hand. First, they only have people from 2014 (6), 2015 (12) and outside of the 1st round of the 2016 Draft (13) that can be signed to extensions. Of those, Bitonio (2014) already got an extension and 4 others are gone. That leaves Kirksey. In 2015, 5 of the 12 players are gone and 1 of 13 are gone from 2016.

Furthermore, you have to consider the fact that the Browns are going to have 11 more draft picks (until a traded happens) in each of the next 2 years.. They just can't keep all of them.

And yes, I understand that they don't have to spend all $100M in cap space this year. But they need to spend some of it..

Lawrence Timmons visiting Dolphins. They seem to be busy.

so we won't trade jimmy unless it's for the browns 1st overall pick!kabot saying we want this years number 1 and next years!!

can you imagine? lol we'd get myles garrett!

Garrett alone on that defense would guarantee another 2 superbowls at least

so we're all over the place, from 3 second-rounders to the 1st overall plus another #1.

Everyone is just guessing

Really? Idk about this. Browns will hang up the phone lol. I think number 12 and a first in 2018's good enough.

It's been all downhill since the Troy Brown strip
It has. They don't just beat teams. They strip them of their entire identity. We saw it happen in the season opener last year after an entire summer of "the Cards are a clear cut SB contender" chatter.

Pretty sure it's a PR move by the Browns. If they don't trade for Garoppolo everybody will think "Belichick was out of his mind with his demands". If they trade him for a package around #12 everybody will think "Good job getting Belichick to lowers his demands".

Even if Cleveland offered #1 overall and BB accepted it, he wouldn't make that selection. He'd parlay that pick into riches of picks and players beyond everyone's imagination.
