Now that Day 2 is in the books teams are restacking and prepping for the finals rounds of the draft.

Who are your gems and your binkies.

Who do you hope the Pats take, who do you think they actually take?

Who should they avoid at all costs?

There are a couple sleepers I like still available

TE: Donald Parham, Caleb Wilson, Foster Moreau

DL: Broughton

WR: Sills, Butler

Those are just off the top of my head.

Alright, so who have you got as the best of the rest on Day 3?

I looked at ESPN rankings. We could get

4A K. Harmon - WR - NC St
4B Charles Omenihu - DE - Texas
4C Dontavius Russell - DT - Auburn

I might do a cartwheel. I'm 57

Anthony Nelson, Armon Watts, Omenihu and there’s three interesting safeties in Hooker, Thompson and CGJ. But I’ll be all in on Stanley Morgan tomorrow.

Omenihu
Willis
Smith
Moreau
Hooker
Thompson
CGJ

Would be amazed if no player trade. Always seems to be one.

Cant see us making 3 4th round picks. 4th rounders always make the roster and then we have a 100 gap in picks. Never say never with Bill, but would astonish me if if we didn't trade back multiple times

Gerald Willis as DL
Anthony Nelson as DE
Trio of safeties or in farther rounds Redwine or Gant would be a good choice.
Butler or Renfrow as WR.
I haven't git any particular preferences for TEs.

DT)4th-Wren/7th-Broughton
S)4th-Amadi/7th-Wingard
WR)4th-Dortch/7th-Hart
QB)4th-Thorson
TE)7th-Wesco

- Only QB I'd tolerate taken by NE left is Stidhman
- Some good S's left to develop like Hooker, Gardner-Thompson, Johnson
-
Who are your gems and your binkies.
- Jaquan Johnson, S, Miami. A small-framed, super-active safety, Johnson is always around the football on run plays and can matchup with backs in coverage...playmaker
- Gary Jennings, WR, West Virginia. Jennings was a possession target at West Virginia in 2017 then emerged as a serious downfield threat in 2018. He's outstanding in contested-catch situations and has deceptive speed...Explosive playmaker with measurable favorable for NE
- Bryce Love, RB Stanford...Best RB in all of '19, coming off a torn ACL
- Mitch Hyatt, OG, Clemson...versatile, experienced dominant OL from a big school
- Beau Benschwazel, OG, Wisconsin...Was projected as one of the top OGs in the class a year ago, dominated in college
- Ross Pierschbacher, C, Alabama...experienced, versatile SEC lineman, leader
- Jarrett Stidham, QB, Auburn...has all the necessary trait to be successful, just has to put them all together and find consistency, starter potential
- Quadree Ollison, RB, PITT
- Riley Ridley, WR, UGA...Strong route runner, speedy, shifty...tested poorly
- Hunter Renfrow, WR, Clemson...Amendola clone, strong hands
- David Sills V, WR, WVU...Strong, versatile wideout, high football IQ
- Jonathan Ledbetter, DE, UGA...versatile run defender on the edge, pass rush capabilities
- Isaac Nauta, TE, UGA...dominant college TE, worth a flier at this point, tested poorly and fell
- Sean Williams, S, Navy...Leader of Navy football, ALWAYS around the football, tackles well...deep sleeper
- Andrew Van Ginkel, OLB, Wisconsin...Scrappy LB project, versatile

Who should they avoid at all costs?
- Brett Rypien, QB, Boise State
- Ryan Finley, QB, NC State
- Anthony Nelson, EDGE, Iowa

WR - Ridley/Harmon/Butler
TE - Raymond/Moreau
OG - Froholdt/Jordan
QB - Finley/Stidham
DT - Broughton/Willis
DE - Nelson/Miller/Jackson
LB - Cashman/Joseph/Coney/Wilson
S - CGJ/Hooker

I love the options and would not be surprised if we trade up to the top of the 4th round.

Qb-Finley, jackson,stick, McSorley
Wr-Morgan!!, Harmon, sills, Jennings, renfrow
TE-Moreau, Raymond, kaden Smith
DL-Wren, Nelson, Wise, Willis
LB-Wilson, cashman
S-hooker

I’m going to leave guys like Gardner-johnson and butler off because I believe they’re not on our board.
