Forgive me for the new thread (mods feel free to over-rule), the other Wilfork thread based on the PFT article kinda degenerated there, and what wasn't mentioned in the PFT piece (surprise) is a mention of the lack of evidence that was brought up on the NFL.com piece:

Wilfork was summoned before Goodell after the Broncos claimed tape of New England's 41-7 win Oct. 20 showed Wilfork elbowing Cutler in the helmet.

However, the tapes that were reviewed during the hearing did not show that clearly, upholding New England's contention there was no intent to injure. They also showed Wilfork helping up Cutler and patting him on the back after the play.
Source: Patriots' Wilfork to be fined, not suspended for hit on Cutler

So if the video upheld New England's contention there was no intent to injure, why is he getting a fine at all?

Oh, and HI Guys! How ya been?

What's up? Where the hell have you been?

Um, because he wears the flying elvis on the side of his helmet?

You can have a late (illegal hit) without an intent to injure. I believe that was the finding in the Wilfork hit on Losman.

Did this video ever air anywhere? Broncos fans on this board yesterday were saying they saw the tape on SportsCenter and it was a cheap shot - seems like they might have been lying about that.

Good to see you, what's up? Don't they have the internet in jail cells?

So T-Shirt, do you need us to describe everything that's happened during your extended sabbatical or did they finally get cable TV way up there?

It starts snowing and all the little woodland creatures want to crawl into the house to spend the winter with you.

Heh T, is the sabbatical over?

Not in the padded cells unfortunately.

Har-har-har. Naw, I'm okay... I had a cute nubile young orderly slip game summaries and Ron Borges articles under my door at night.

I hope so Buddy... still limited time for now, but should be over.

That's good, I'd hate to have to send the UN Peacekeepers back in after you - though at least the black flies wouldn't be a problem for them for a few months.
