Maye tries to make too many plays and it causes mistakes that could potentially be back breaking... but at least he makes big game changing plays that help you.
Stafford will each the sack and try again next drive to a fault. He won't push it until the last gotta have it drive of the game, and that is a sudden gear shift he hasn't worked up to. He doesn't make as many mistakes... but he makes less plays. He depends on the guys around him to get wide open or break short passes
As much as the mistakes hurt you, I'd rather put points on the board and leave your D holding the game and trying to salvage bad situations than not put points on the board and hoping someone wins it for you while you try not to lose.
