Almost done putting this together and, as I told @Guts last season, we'll have this for 2024. This has come out a little better than I thought, which will allow people to take a shot at picking various games against the spread, money lines, etc. while placing virtual bets, etc. Obviously, this won't involve real money, but these types of games are always more fun to play when that's the case, given that it's certainly less stressful. You'll be able to pick games, player props, etc., and it'll be easy to keep track of. And all the other contests we ran last year will continue.
This will be something that, when it goes live, I'll let people know and then you'll just need to opt in if you want to play, much like the football picks game. From there, there will be a section within your account with coins that will be added to wager with. I've got some things in mind in terms of how that will run, so we'll see how this continues to come together.
Also, I know some people would prefer to not see this as not everyone likes gambling, which is why it will be an opt-in in and there will be a separate notification on the navbar and all messages will funnel through that so that only the people interested in playing will see them.
I'll follow up when it's ready, but just wanted to make people aware of what's coming since the contests will likely be the highlight around here depending on how this season goes. We'll at least finally get a glimpse at this group tonight, which should be fun to watch.
