Maybe I'm an idiot but I have no idea what quick release people are seeing in these videos. He's literally throwing in slow motion

The release does seem to be getting quicker. Glad to see he is putting in the work.

Just for reference, this kid just signed with Miami, and will be an incoming freshman next year.

That's the quickest release I've ever seen, myself. But that's just there for reference as to what a 'quick release' looks like and means.

Sign the beast?

Mac Jones deja vu. I remember the media and Evan Lazar with the buzz words "velocity" back when his arm was in question after his rookie season.

Maye's release was really slow in year 1. But most importantly, he needs protect himself better. As bad as the OL was, they didn't get him injured - he did on his reckless running.

Watch Shanny turn Mac into a pro bowler lol.
I sense a little sarcasm in this statement, but he going to learn something from Shanahan just like Darnold did. Purdy's arm is atrocious, but is disguised by his a strong running game, quick decision making and guys being wide open. He got exposed this year with players out and the defense collapsing.

It was sort of 50/50 sarcasm and serious. Purdy is not special. Mac might actually tun that offense decently.

He was hot trash here, BUT BB did have Patricia coaching him

Has anyone seen Maye throw since week 17? I know I haven't and its good to see the work thats getting put in. This is when the growth happens and it would suck not to see any.
Maye was in the Pro Bowl.

He was hot trash in Jacksonville too. Dude sucks and it does not have to do with the coaching.

So will the offensive line.
funny. I think they will be much improved this coming season...if not, Maye might lead the league in rushing (running for his life)
