Gimme this.
That is awesome!

They must keep Elvis, if only to ensure continued participation here by @Actual Pats Fan. But please not that giant shoulder thing ever again.

I like the sleeve stripes that a lot of teams use with the modern jersey “template.” I think it’s the template that prevents them from having proper shoulder stripes and the result is lousy IMO.

I hope they keep the silver pants with the blue jersey, can go either way regarding the shade of blue, like the idea of the red pants, and the Pat Patriot throwback with sleeve stripes in the early 1970s motif.

No matter what the new uniform design is, it will probably be hated. Fans either want the original uniforms, 90’s blue or the dynasty uniforms - they don’t want a complete redesign. I doubt it’s going to be some mashup they already tried with the current uniforms. Also, I’m worried Nike is involved as they have messed up a lot of uniforms over the years.

Nike rarely gets it right by their own doing when a team is looking for a completely new design, save the Chargers. Uniforms like the Titans, Jags, Falcons, Broncos, Cardinals, ours, all have been either bad or just average.

Usually their good uniforms are when the team that's getting redesigned uni's are aiming to go back to something that's similar to a previous traditional uniform they once wore. (think Browns, Bucs, Lions uniforms)

They also have done well bringing back temporary throwbacks like ours, Jags, Oilers, Seahawks, Broncos. Throwback uniforms placed on modern sleek uniforms look absolutely incredible. I think it's no accident many teams are going back to these looks. Seahawks and Jaguars should go back to their old uniforms today.

Keep the throwbacks as is, wear them 2-3 times a year

Change the current to a clean modern Nike version of the dynasty uniforms. No grey alternates, just navy and white, but with plenty of each color in each design - red outlined numbers and red piping down the shoulder pads and sides, small flying Elvis logo (or number) on lower shoulder flap. Matte white helmet with glossy Flying Elvis logo, red facemask. Navy uniforms go with silver pants, white uniforms go with navy pants, red piping extended down side of pants for clean finished look. Red Gloves/accessories.

*Optional: Pat Patriot logo on the shoulder pads instead of Elvis logo and matte or regular silver helmets instead of matte white.

Please don't shoot me for this post ....but I am surprised we don't have the blackout uniforms like other teams have taken on in recent years......I will now begin to run and duck

I like the silver helmet.

Definitely need some new Jerseys.

And maybe use the 90s unis as the old school for a few years. I like the pat Patriots old school the best but for a few years it would be fun to see the Bledsoe Blues again.

I like the Silver (or similar color) helmet. And I'm one of those that likes the "Flying Elvis". Although I grew up with "Pat Patriot".

I just keep opening the thread hoping for real news about this

if you want breaking news maybe you should start following Dakota in Braintree

It's impossible to overstate how terrible the Patriots' uniforms have been since 1993, aside from 'throwbacks' which should have been kept as regular.

Patriots are in the majority of pro sports teams, who are short sighted and go out of their way to have no class, crap all over their own rich history and real fans, and look like total losers. Subsequently winning titles only makes it worse and sadder.

Just a few left in the NFL who dress to win: Cowboys, Colts, Raiders, Chiefs, Giants, Bears, Steelers (except for those really silly jersey number fonts - no, they should not match the helmet number...whoever came up with that garbage has the same nonmentality as Orthwein saying we looked like Redcoats - idiocy), Green Bay & the 49ers. Cleveland, Buffalo and the Chargers often get it right.

That's it. Everybody else looks like sh*t, after ruining themselves.

People who like the replacements are a diverse lot. I wonder exactly how many Americans would have no problem with replacing the American flag with something obviously miserable, insulting, embarrassing and ugly, especially compared with what it replaced. They would have to be completely oblivious to aesthetics, history including all who fought and died for this country under it, and any appearance of self respect or admirability.

The Patriots are special, and different, in that the franchise has been subjected to incomparable denigration and disparagement led by its own local media for decades.

Imagine if after buying out John Y. Brown, Harry Mangurian destroyed the Celtics' logo. Assuming Red still stayed, Larry Bird would have spent his entire career looking stupid. Like Tom Brady.
