This actually is interesting. I was surprised they didn't draft him late in the draft last year and then didn't sign him as a UDFA... He played with Mac in 2021 and then was coached by O'Brien last year so perhaps O'Brien thinks he'd be worth a look.

I am not too enthused about it. We got lucky with Brady and Edelman.. not gonna happen again.

Looks like Meyers could become another Edelman but sadly for another team ...

We need this draft to hit outta the park with first year contributions to remain relevant.

Meyers is David Givens 2.0. He's not in the same class as Edelman or Welker.

If the Pats want a slot receiver to help this team going forward, looking at guys like Parker Washington and other guys in the 3rd round or later is where to look. If they don't add an OT with 1 of the first two picks, the viability of the O-line will continue to be in question. The other pick should be used on a CB. One who could play Outside primarily but would have no issue covering in the slot.

It is amazing how little skill they have at acquiring both wide receivers and tight ends. Jacobi Myers is
one of their few successes.

It's amazing how people regurgitate that claim without knowing how little capital they've actually spent trying to do so. And how many successes they've actually had in doing so.

I don't think it is amazing.

It reminds of the idea that Belichick can't secure WR's with speed.
