MORSE: Replacing Belichick and Patriots vs Buffalo Bills Preview
Mark Morse
It’s time for Robert Kraft to make a change with the Patriots organization. The Patriots 1-5 start is unacceptable, and changes need to be made and that means at the top. Bill Belichick is the problem. He has lost this team, and they are no longer listening to him.

Agree with your take on the Belichick situation: If he refuses to relinquish his GM duties before the trade deadline then he needs to go, right then and right there. However, I wouldn't mind an interim regime of Eliot Wolf as GM to whom Al Groh's kid answers (unless he's fired too, fine by me), not the other way around, Mayo as HC & Stevie as DC. I'd fire Judge Joey too, in order to make a Real statement: Last year mattered, and was Unacceptable. And neither JuJuSanu nor Dorothy Parker would be active here for the rest of the season except for injury.

The Billdos have good starters at WR but questionable depth; not sold on Spencer Brown as a starting RT either... Without Milano their LBs are just OK; and having DT Ed Oliver declared inactive will also help. If we can't get the running game going vs this somewhat banged-up front, then we're beyond ****ing hopeless... And a competent passing offense might be able to take advantage of their Tredavious White-less CBs; but since we don't have one here I won't bother to speculate further. Let the sacks begin...
