Michael Abromowitz at the Football Expert has a new 7 round mock up:

The Football Expert: 2009 NFL Mock Draft - 7 Rounds

For the Pats:

23 - Everette Brown, OLB
34 - Louis Delmas, S
47 - Alphonso Smith, CB
58 - Duke Robinson, OG
89 - Travis Beckum, TE
97 - Jason Phillips, ILB
124 - Glenn Coffee, RB
170 - Tom Brandstater, QB
199 - Clinton McDonald, DE/DT
207 - Patrick Turner, WR
234 - Demetrius Byrd, WR

It started out interesting, but then I thought it fell off.

Some other picks of note:

12 - Tyson Jackson, DE
13 - Robert Ayers, DE
15 - Malcolm Jenkins, CB/S
16 - Rey Maualuga, ILB
20 - William Beatty, OT
29 - Clay Matthews, LB
30 - Darius Butler, CB
31 - Donald Brown, RB
36 - Connor Barwin, OLB - no!!! Barwin to Mangini would hurt!
37 - Sean Smith, CB/S
38 - Eric Wood, OG
40 - Ziggy Hood, DT
41 - Larry English, DE/OLB
44 - Percy Harvin, WR
45 - Hakeem Nicks, WR
46 - William Moore, S
51 - Patrick Chung, S
57 - Jarron Gilbert, DE/DT
63 - Lawrence Sidbury, DE/LB
64 - DJ Moore, CB
84 - Pat White, QB/WR
98 - Jasper Brinkley, ILB
106 - Jason Williams, LB
108 - TJ Lang, OT/G
115 - Trevor Canfield, OG
130 - Sammie Lee Hill, DT
151 - Coye Francies, CB
165 - Kevin Huber, P
175 - Zach Potter, DE
179 - Joe Burnett, CB
182 - Thomas Morstead, P
185 - Mike Wallace, WR
212 - Brian Hoyer, QB
235 - Devin Moore, RB
243 - Lardarius Webb, CB

I prefer the following:

23 - Connor Barwin, OLB - prefer his size, speed and versatility to Brown for OLB
34 - Louis Delmas, S
47 - Jarron Gilbert, DE
58 - trade into 2010
89 - Jason Williams, LB
97 - TJ Lang, OT/G
124 - Mike Wallace, WR
170 - Joe Burnett, CB
199 - Lardarius Webb, CB
207 - Brian Hoyer, QB
234 - Devin Moore, RB
UDFA - Philip Trautwein, OT
UDFA - Brandon Walker, OG
UDFA - Vaughn Martin, DT

Well, in that draft they get my favorite ILB, my favorite SS, my second favorite CB, a half decent guard and my least favorite OLB. I'd mark it up for the first few rounds as such.

#23: C**** B*****
#34: Delmas
#47: Gilbert
#58: Any sub 4.3 tailback with stoopid agility and hands
#89: Pat White
#97: Jason Phillips

There are not that many runningbacks in existence with sub 4.3 speed with great agility and hands. And if they do exist, they tend not to last until pick 58. So I assume you mean -- trade this pick into 2010 and hope such a RB is available in the 1st round of that year's draft.

Exactly, save for the first round. Darren Sproles and many of his ilk last until the third or later because of their limited usage. I'm not looking for a 5'11 225lb guy with shoulders from hell who runs a sub 4.3. I'm still pissed we passed up Sproles.

Devin Moore. Should be available as a late round pick. One of my day 2 binkies.

Also, your point is exactly why I had the Pats trade up to 51 for Percy Harvin when he fell in my latest mock - and many panned me for the pick.
