The field conditions, going into the game only being favored by 8 points, just think this is going to be a close one. What do you think?

Also hoping for a Jets loss today against KC.

GO CHIEFS!!

Nervous about any game, with parity and all, "On Any Sunday"...

The "Any Given Sunday" rule is always in effect, but I think this game is the second easiest game left on the schedule after Buffalo. I am concerned about injuries with the field.

I may be be more interested in the Chiefs/Jets game than this one. I think the Chiefs have a far better shot to win today than most. Their defense has been playing great recently and if they can bring Pittsburgh to the wire, they certainly have what it take to beat the Jets. I got Sunday Ticket and will be flipping back and forth between the two games.

Washington lost 3 key players this week. Laron Landry - S , Trent Williams - T and Fred Davis - TE. They haven't been playing well prior to those injuries/suspensions. If we can keep Orakpo/Kerrigan off of Brady. It will be a blowout.

Kind of feels like a game were it will be close for a bit, then the Pats will pull away. I don't feel nervous, but talk to me closer to kickoff...

As long as Brady and Co dont take their foot of the gas in the 4th again i would love a blowout.

Agreed. To bad Cassel isnt in so we can cheer him on to beat down tubby wrecks.

Unless it's raining, I don't think the field conditions are going to affect the Pats. In fact, I think they are more likely to slow down Orakpo and Kerrigan than to hurt the Pats receivers. Today will be a huge test for Solder/Cannon/Light. Keeping Brady CLEAN is a must.. We might see less of Gronk and more of Hernandez because of it..

Might even have a Chad OchoCinco sighting.. *LOL*

And no, I'm not nervous about the game. Only been one game and that was the 2nd Jets game that I was nervous about.

That's my biggest worry, too. They're low on bodies at too many positions as is.

(Also, I dreamed last night that the Rams beat the Patriots 47-45, after the ref's very unfavorable ball spotting cost them a first down inside the St. Louis 10 late in the game. This pointless anxiety dream has left a residue of nerves I can't quite shake.)

I'm nervous about every game, that being said they seem to excel in crappy conditions.

The chicago game on soldier field last year comes to mind, they were dealing with similar problems in regards to the grass i believe.

not sure either way i'll be nervous pervous

I was nervous about the Colts game last week, so this one is no different. Once I take my first hit, I'll be OK.

Take your first hit brotha, all is well.

I expect theteam to come out and handle business today. Nothing pretty, but just get the job done. This stretch of lousy teams freaking STINKS. It's gotta be difficult to get up for a 4 win or less opponent for the 3rd straight week.

At this point it's about avoiding injury, get the lost cause known as Ocho cCinco involved as possible and IMPROVE THE DEFENSE!!

Same here. Other games had me on a mild emotional rollercoaster, but that one was a queasy ordeal most of the way through.

yeah getting the defense to step up will be a great accomplishment today.

LETS GO PATS!

For some reason my anxiety is focused on the playoffs, as if these next 4 games never existed.

Its an interconference matchup, not as big as next weeks, but only big if you want the 'meh' First Seed

I am interested to see if Shanahan still has Belichick's number now as a HC of another team besides the Broncos
