Need info on parking last night

I as well as tailgate partners have been parking in P11 for the last few years and have met several others who do the same consistently. We always arrive as near can be to the time the lots open and I'm curious if anyone utilized the lot last night. This past July a few of us took our wives to the Billy Joel/Elton John show and arrived early to tailgate with intention of parking in P11 as the Gillette website indicated it would be one of the lots that would be open. Upon arrival the lot was closed and it appeared as if the majority of the concert-goers were being directed into P10. About 45 minutes after we were begrudingly settled into P10 we could see cars being allowed into P11. My concern is that fans that arrive early to the Pats games to tailgate could have the same scenario repeated if the intention is to fill the larger lots first.
