I just watched this about an hour ago. Too funny.

I was at the game that time JT O'Sullivan QBed the 49ers against the Pats in Candlestick in 2008.

Regards,
Chris

So was I. It was an infinitely better experience than the Patriots-Raiders game in Oakland later that season.

I enjoyed that Oakland game. The heavy rain and Purpledrank Russell's performance killed that crowd.

I remember the crowd being more interested at shouting insults at Randy Moss and LaMont Jordan than even paying attention to what was going on in the game.

never mind that, Romanoff...where the hell is MY caviar?

I remember that, especially the Jordan stuff. Of course that all died after halftime when everyone left.

How great was it watching the Pats go into Arrowhead and knock the smile off the faces of crowd as they looked on with barbecue sauce crusted on the corners of their shocked open mouths.

It was even more beautiful than the Sistine chapel painting.

Ok, I saw the disagree, I don’t agree either but it was still a thing of beauty

Well here's some football porn for you. It's a channel run by J. T. O'Sullivan (that name should ring a bell for some of us ;) ). A lot of Xs and Os analysis of the Patriots.

Mason closing up the lane for that free rusher by moving the guy he is engaged with really went under a bit. Great blocking.

I've seen the Patriots run that 3 man route combinations a million times when watching the All 22. I even saw the Saints doing it in the playoffs vs the Rams. Not sure what it's called but...

#1 outside runs a 5 yard "In" (or "Dig") route
#2 WR runs a "Corner" route
#3 slot (i.e.Edelman) runs a "Post"

So, against zone, it creates sort of a 2-on-1 against the ILB in coverage. The ILB is tying to cover #3 on the post until he sees #1 coming underneath.
