He certainly continues to have trouble with anybody who has a first step of any kind. Not really a trait you want for a franchise LT and a pure pocket passing QB.

Embarrassing. There were several plays where Solder looked horrible. One was on him, the others, not so much.

Solders drop off from last year is mind boggling. I know some here haven't been a fans of him before, but I've always thought that he was pretty good. Not among the top, but he did the job. But this year he's not good at all.

I love you too.

Solder doesn't "suck." There are probably 6-8 left tackles better than he is and a dozen or so who are roughly equivalent. Left tackle is the most demanding position on an NFL OL. He had 3 or 4 bad plays against one of the best D lines in the NFL, playing mostly against their quickest pass rusher (Hughes) or their strongest player ( Darius). It's not like Reiff had such a great game last week against the same players.

Saying you wish Solder was better or that he was better last year are fair statements; saying he sucks is something else entirely.
