every year it seems there's a surprise and with this team there's so much competition it feels like there could be a real shocker depending on how camp shakes out. Namoe someone almost everyone has penciled in right now.

He has cleanly fielded some aweful snaps. I think Zoltan is one of the best punters in the game and would hate to see him go.

Here's a "wow" stat for you. No rookie punter has ever had a higher net average than Mesko did his rookie year.

He then followed that up by being 3rd in the NFL in net average this past season.

I just looked up the numbers and can not see how you come to this compclusion.

In 2011, Mesko punted 57 times with just 3 touchbacks and no TDs against. Tied for 11th with 46.5 avg yards is good for a punter in the North East. His net avg of 41.5 is third best and Mesko has never had a punt blocked in the NFL or in College. I think you need to re-examin your evaluation of the guy. If you're being sarcastic, I just bought it hook line and sinker.

I respectfully disagree. The versatility thing is overblown. Edleman
is a good punt returner. On offense, he has caught 6 passes over
the past two years. On defense, he was forced into action because
of a woeful situation at safety.

Stallworth isn't a surprise, frankly I think it would take a miracle for him to make the team.
Cunningham seems to be cut by more fans than kept. I agree it would be surprising if he is cut, but many fans expect it.
Edelman is the opposite. I don't see him making the team. A developmental WR who hasn't developed after 3 years is on shaky ground, but he is an underdog, so fans who root for him tend to think he is better than he is, so fan sentiment almost has him as a lock.
