My top 100 prospects

Initial thoughts after spending some time reading the list:
  1. Willis and Bowser (two of the hyper athletic edge guys we all want) seemed too low, initially, but once I reviewed the names above them, it was hard to move them up too much.
  2. Picking at 72 doesn't bother me anymore. So many good players in the 70 - 100 range, and even beyond; limiting this list to 100 must have been difficult.
  3. Quarterbacks will be drafted higher than they should be (we all knew that though).
  4. Roderick Johnson needs some work, but he's got the frame and athleticism to really shine under Scar's tutelage. Could be in play at #96?

Excellent list. Hats off. I think the three names that jumped out at me that I would have higher (by about a round) are Chris Godwin, Tyus Bowser, Tarrell Basham and Josh Jones.

Well, which one of those guys didn't make the cut?

Great job, again. I completely agree with your comments regarding Dion Dawkins and Ethan Pocic and also regarding this year's QB class, which might be the worst I have ever seen.

Funny you mention Bowser and Willis. I was thinking the same thing. I wanted to move up Bowser especially, but just couldn't realistically find a place to move him. The QB's will go much higher, and that is fine. I just can't get on board with any of them. This draft is so deep in the middle. I have day 2 grades on right around 118 guys, so there is depth in this draft for sure.

I have stated many times, I hate scouting safeties. I am no good at it and can fully admit to it. I have a hard time assessing their traits from TV tape, so I have to go on gut feeling with these guys. You maybe right on Jones. I really like Bowser and Basham and spoiler, both will be on my Patriots specfic big board. There are so many names right in that area that I like, they could be moved around a bit.

My worry with Jones is was his 3 cone time. Stiffness when changing direction showed up on tape too. Still a very good player.

I agree with Jones' 3-cone but then you did have McKinley in the first round
