Get used to it Pat Fans nobody likes us and we are viewed as fans that support a team that cheats and lies in anyway to win. Does anyone care? I don't. During Spygate we saw how numerous radio show hosts, TV analysts and other team fans repeatedly mis-state what spygate actually was. Even years laters I hear about the taping of the Rams walk through which of course never happened. The camera in question was in front of 80,000 fans and in front of other NFL cameras. Now we have to listen to this deflate gate issue and again we have to listen to such ignorant comments on the radio from our supposedly own radio hosts regarding footballs. Today I heard comments on the radio that clearly indicates that they still do not understand the principles of the Ideal Gas Laws but yet still rip Brady for something they still don't comprehend. It is truly shameless. Ratings game I guess.
[For you fans who do not understand the Law please understand this: A football that is inflated in a warm room will lose pressure (not air) when moved to a cold environment. That same football when brought back to a warm room will re-inflate to its original pressure.] [Footballs used in the ice bowl game deflated 4 psi during the game which means they were at approximately 8.5 -9.5 during that game but when they were brought back into the locker room they re-inflated back to their original pressure of 12.5 -13.5 psi]
According to the Wells report data they have just suspended Tom Brady over a 0.3 psi discrepancy. They accuse him of not cooperating because he wouldn't turn over his phone. Why would you not turn your phone over to such a well established reputable organization such as the NFL? (Sarcasm intended) What if there were text messages regarding Edelman's concussion during the super bowl or something else not deflategate related but NFL related? What would happened then?
IF the NFL really wanted to know what happened to those footballs they would have simply taken them out of the game and tested them after the game. IF Walt Anderson tested them at 12.5 before the game and nothing else was done to them, they would have returned to 12.5 psi while sitting in the locker room. Instead they take the footballs, test them and then re-inflate those footballs effectively destroying the evidence. There is no conclusive way to know what happened to those footballs unless McNally comes out and says I did it or I didn't do it.
I know the Patriots are a class act type of organization. I know that Brady is a class act but that no longer matters to the rest of the nation. We are the cheaters no matter what is proven. We are the new most hated team in the league. Get used to it. So move over Raiders because we no longer give a crap what you think of our team.
Super Bowl 50 here we come and they are going to hate it.
