After playing in his first game for the Vikings since he was traded by the Patriots, receiver Randy Moss answered questions from reporters early Tuesday morning and was asked about a CBS report that he had a dispute with quarterback Tom Brady.

Moss smiled, laughing under his breath.

"Tom sent me a text today, man," Moss said before looking in the camera and addressing Brady directly. "Tom, I know you're watching, buddy. I appreciate that text. Sorry we didn't bring it home buddy, but I appreciate the text."

Moss, who would not reveal what Brady said in the text message, had four catches for 81 yards in his first game back with the Vikings.

Sounds to me the way Brady answered the question was that he did not text Randy at all ... sounds like Randy made it up to move along to the next question. Nothing to gain by anyone talking bitter ... especially considering these are HOF players with reputations to maintain.

Randy earned himself a new reputation here ... one that will help him in the future beyond football.
