Honestly I think what Randy was trying to say was more or less as follows:

"I want a contract, I think it's the appropiate way for them to show their appreciation for what I've done here. That said, to all the mediots out there who like to say that I'm not going to try hard, that I'll take plays off, that I'll be disgruntled, etc., if I don't get a contract -- you're wrong. I'm going to play my heart out no matter what happens, so there's no reason for ya'll to talk bad about me. I get the business side of the game, and I would like my contract and that's that -- if it happens it does and if it doesn't it doesn't, but it won't affect my play, so stop hating on me for stuff that you make up."

Great, the same meeting Bill told reporters he prefers to remain private between himself and a player... Randy needs to let the media know that Bill (put him on the couch and attempted to convince him he's appreciated because they need him to keep working hard and performing at a high level all season) said he understood the frustration... Moss already imparted that message to the media via Rap...but I guess ink doesn't cut it and he wants it on film that will be shown repeatedly on national TV...

None of us have any idea what was said in the meeting nor what he is going on ESPN for nor what will be said. You already have made up your mind how you are going to feel about it before it's happened. Can we at least wait and see.
