Moss feeling the heat

You can't be lazy and look the way these guys do, run the way they run and do it every weekend. Look at me and most of us if you want to see what lazy is. I sit on my butt on sundays not get hit by a maniac with 30lbs of gear on

well, most pros get a gazillion $ to do what they were signed for. So, no point comparing the regular joes to them w.r.t their training and what they do on the field.

That said, resign him?

Great video

at 3:42 he takes a play off

thanks for posting - cool look into WR strength and conditioning

Does anybody remember where the term "dog-faker" came from? Did a poster or a reporter-journalist make that up? I remember that classic post that went on for weeks.

Ive heard Felger use the term many times especially in relation to Moss, then again Felgers an idiot, seeking attention whore

If this is a trailor anyone know when the actual documentary will be released/aired?

Regarding that "jogging". Next time you watch film of him running, notice how long both his legs and his stride are. It's an illusion that he's "jogging" because his speed is pretty doggone good, but his lankiness and long stride make you think he's slower than he really is.

Moss does jog a lot of plays, and he's said so a number of times.

Typically, its when hes double covered and the play is supposed to go the other way. He does it so he can go full speed on other plays.

He's on the field for more plays than almost any other receiver in the NFL.

there was a story out there a few years back about a guy heckling Moss at some club about a couple dropped passes. I believe it was Moss, but I wouldn't put money on it. Sure sounds like him, though.

Anyway, Moss goes to the guy and says "I tell you what. Let's go outside. I'm gonna put my helmet on you, and have you go out 10 yards. You have one of your friends throw you the football. I'm gonna stand beside you. Just before the ball gets to you, I'm gonna wallop you upside the head with a baseball bat. If you can still catch that ball, I'll personally bring you into the coach's office and tell him to sign you up."

Guy shut up and went back to drinking.

Hmmm, I seem to remember this as comments by Ahmad Rashad (a long time ago of course) as he described on the air one day what it's like to go over the middle as a WR. He closed by saying something like "If you can do that 10 times, then you've got what it takes to be an NFL wide receiver."

Perhaps Moss (or some other player) later used that per the story.

Really cool vid, first time i've seen anything on how a Wideout trains. Makes you think all that hard work pays out for something in the end. Hope he comes back next year!

This reminds me of a Florida training video of Moss that circulated when New England first got him in Spring 2007. Let's hope the season that follows is similar!

Moss makes me feel all warm inside with this video.

Mood: Flirty!

Regards,
Chris

I read an article about that but never watched a video. Would that still be circulating the internet?

I cannot wait for this season to start![/QUOTE
I don't think anyone can dispute that the guy has a great work ethic and always comes in ready to go.....but he does have a bad habit of "not selling the play" when that particular play is not coming to him. A lot of other teams defenders have commented on it....."we knew when it wasn't going to him because he would quit on the play".....that having been said.....the guy is one of the greatest athletes of all time...and I hope he can return to 2007 stats this year!......don't see him here after this year tho...
