Sparks, thanks for bringing this up. At first when someone said it was filed Jan 6 I thought obvious prank. But it just broke yesterday. We need to rally behind our guy.

This may be some nutjob lady with a bunch of cats down in Broward County who loves the Dolphins and doesn't want to see their record upset.

WBDO 580 in Central Florida reports Randy Moss has been hit with a temporary injunction for protection against dating violence.
The alleged victim claims Moss committed battery against her, inflicted serious injury, and refused to let her seek medical attention. Moss cannot come within 500 feet of the woman or possess or use firearms. Moss has not been charged with a crime, but this is an unneeded distraction before the Patriots play the Chargers in Sunday's AFC Championship game. Jan. 15 - 11:34 pm et

Gawd, man, you need to take a reality check. Randy Moss has been in Foxboro recently as far as I can tell. You'd think the woman would be free enough from his iron grip to file charges against him if he really committed "dating violence" against her. This whole thing is someone's sick joke.

I never said it was true, and you know that. But if a women is beaten and doesn't report it, a lot of restraining orders are issued without follow up charges or arrests.

No, that's not true at all. In fact, domestic violence laws, especially in southern states such as florida, are weaker and do not require the victim to press charges. Plus women often choose not to press charges for whatever reason.
