C'mon, ESPN is just stating the obvious. I don't know how anyone could have watched yesterday's game and not come to the conclusion that Weeden was the better QB yesterday. It wasn't even close. Brandon totally owned Tommy.
 
That rating is hugely flawed. I think a QBR of 50 is an "average" game. Brady wasn't on fire but did more than enough to win, 74% completion, no INTs, 2 TDs. The fumble (should have been INC) might have played into it.
 
Goofy stat.
The traditional QB rating had Brady at 130.9 and Weeden at 67.0
Weeden had 4.2 yards per attempt and an interception.
They will need to adjust their formula, or be ridiculed.
 
Can you imagine if we had Brandon Weeden all these years? We'd have at least 6 SB banners hanging at Gillette.
