Re: Monday's New England Patriots Links 3/10/14 - Logan Ryan Ready to Step up, Browns

Good luck to Julian Edelman in NY with the Jets or in Cleveland with the Browns. I hope they pay him and gurantee a lot.

It's his chance to set himself up for life. Neither location makes any sense from a career building standpoint since neither has a QB who can get him the ball in a manner that makes the most of his skill set.

On the bright side, these slot receiver types are plentiful. Edelman is replaceable by Danny Amendola and TJ Moe who was signed but got injured early in camp last year. New England Patriots: T.J. Moe

In the draft, I like the kid from Oregon, Josh Huff, a lot. He's a 4th or 5th rounder, showed well at the combine, and caught 62 passes for over 1100 yards at Oregon in their hurry up system. Not tremendously fast but at 5'11" 205 fits the profile. Josh Huff Stats, News, Videos, Pictures, Bio - Oregon Ducks - ESPN
