In fairness to Eli he did make the conversion needed to pick up first down. The play was called back on a holding penalty putting them in 3rd and 20 I believe. The next play however, was idiotic.

This was a great thing to happen. It keeps the Giants hungry, and it keeps the both the Cowboys and Redskins in the hunt. Since the Giants and Redskins both play the Ravens, this Giants loss is a potentially big "win" (or 2) for the Patriots.

2 more ratbird losses would be exquisite. Would even give not only Squeelers, but also Cincy a pathetically small chance to overtake them. That would be so delicious to see them not only have to play on WC weekend but AWAY. just day-dreaming, BUT IT COULD HAPPEN.
Yea.....it makes me sick. As much as I like some of our guys.....they just can't get down field to make plays. Gronk is the only one that looks the part.
Lloyd has been a huge disappointment IMO
Brady has pretty much had garbage outside the numbers his entire career other than Moss and Branch when he was young.
And every time they put him in; the D sees it a mile away and double-triple teams the deep route.
You could argue that it is because they do it so seldom; but it also hinges on Slater being SUPER-FAST; but he cant seem to run the shorter routes precisely enough to crack the lineup or else he doesn't have variable cutting speed and just has straight line speed.
Seems weird to me that he can outrun everybody on ST and work around double-teams on him as a gunner and YET he can't get open for TB as a WR or crack the lineup.
But more to the point is that BB plays the percentages in ALL THAT HE DOES. On D that translates to 'bend don't break'. On O it translates into DONT TURN THE BALL OVER, and TAKE WHAT THEY GIVE YOU. Throwing up rainbows down the field consistently like Eli and a few others do is completely counter to that philosophy. BB only wants to go deep often enough to make them protect against it.........
In short, even if we had that GUY; DO YOU THINK BB WOULD USE HIM THAT MUCH? MOSS was the exception; but a ONCE IN AN ERA WR is an exception in any case.

Love to see the Giants lose, and I completely agree.
Ravens go to Washington next week. The Redskins will be confident and hungry. The Ravens probably won't have Terrell Suggs. I think Washington will destroy them. The Ravens' D will have trouble with RGIII's mobility, and Joe Flacco on the road is generally not good.
The Ravens also have to end the season on the road against a Cincinnati team that may possibly need to win to get the last wild card spot.
That'd be my guess, they split the next 4 games. Baltimore for as lucky they are they're still a very scrappy team and they do to their credit take full advantage of every gift they get. That's how they are 9-3 right now despite the injuries and just not being that great of a team. They've got too much luck on their side when it comes to in game action, and the refs have a love affair with them this year. Of course I'd love for them to lose out and miss the playoffs, but I would gladly take them finishing 11-5, one of the wins coming against Denver, and them having to play PIT or Cincy round 1. That probably won't all happen either though.
The Giants remaining schedule isnt exactly a cupcake. They have NO, Atlanta, Baltimore, and Philly. They could easily finish 8-8 and lose the division to Washington
