Something so satisfying about watching Joe Flacco fail in another uniform, especially Denver. We’ve seen him fail with so many different coordinators and players around him. The one time he played well still ended up helping us, since he got an absurd contract and ruined that run by the Ravens, who had built a pretty good young defense to replace the Lewis-Reed one.

Hard to say, depends on when the ref would rule that he gave himself up. My guess the ref would whistle it quick understanding the situation.

A ball carrier can down himself and yell "down" to end a play. Usually the coaches will alert the refs to be looking for this.

It's rarely used, but not new.

Considering their unsuccessful attempts to draft their QB of the future over the last 10 years I think they welcomed trying to trade for 1 instead.
