This is currently what I would do in FA and the draft to get back to the playoffs. My philosophy was improve the roster as a whole rather than blow the wad on 3 or 4 high priced guys. I know I did not hit the WR the way most of you would like, but sometimes **** be that way. Let me know what ya think, roast or toast all comments are welcome.

I've been playing around with a full mock offseason too. Nice job. I had the same re-signings you did in Hooper, Ellis, Austin.

You're putting a lot of trust in Jayden Higgins to carry the offense. That might be my only concern about this mock off-season. Other than that, it's really good.

The more I watch Higgins the more I like him as a big X and can move into a power slot position. I prefer to say that I have a lot of trust in McD and staff. My main priority was the OL in FA.

Here's mine.

Yellow = Re-signing
Blue = FA signing
Green = Draft picks

I love it! I'd like to think Abdul is a day one starter. I don't know that we can count on Barrmore and Godchaux. Keion can play inside but I love the Poona signing. He spoke on switching from a 3-4 to a 4-3....

He was the third highest graded DT in run defense last season.

Well done Manx,

I do have some issues with some of the players.
Slayton had 7 drops according to PFF, I like his skill set but its the drops that kill me because we saw enough of that last year.
James Daniels He played RG in 2024 and I am not sure if he has played LG in awhile. I love his run blocking but his pass blocking has left a lot to be desired.
Omenihu- I like him a ton but I feel like if they run a 4-3 under as their base that he and white are redundant because they need a faster guy like Carter there because the end on the weak side will line up at 7 or 9 tech
Makari- He had 14 or 15 penalties this year according to PFF, for context Lowe had 13. For all the people that say penalties are on the coaches, I guarantee that Baltimore was well coached.

I love your Laquint Allen, Cobee Bryant, Darius Alexander and Thornton picks. As a Nebraska fan, Ty Robinson and Nash are my binky binkies.

These are really small nitpicks and this offseason would improve the roster a ton.

All fair points.

1. Slayton - Needed a deep threat and WR1. Would want Tee Higgins, but that's the salary of three FAs. Originally was going Hollywood Brown. Just want someone who can take the top off.

2. Daniels - I was looking at your guy Teven Jenkins but he looks to have been injured every year he's had in the league. I figured between Daniels, Mekari and Onwenu you could sort out LG, RG and RT (Mekari was a LG last year).

3. Omenihu - I needed someone opposite of White as a pre-draft placeholder because you just don't know what will happen in the draft. Also, in Tennessee, Vrabel did have one big guy on one end and a speedier guy on the other even in W9.

4. Mekari - I didn't know about the penalties so not good. Maybe a move back to RT solves that. The RT options are pretty poor if we want a sub 30 year old.

I love Robinson and Hutmacher but I'm not entirely convinced they'll make it. It wouldn't be for lack of trying though
because their work ethic is off the charts.

Thanks for the critiques. I'll take them into account for the next one.

PS. thanks for the Elijah Molden signing. I blatantly stole that one off you.

I love Molden, a former CB so I immediately thought of McCourty. He is a smaller guy, but great in coverage and he was drafted by Titans in 2021. I know people want Holland but he is another safety that can't really cover and since we have Pep and Dug I figured someone with coverage chops would be a good fit. I really like Dell Pettus as well.

Manx, I saw you had drafted Jayden Higgins, was that just to get a big body or do you think he has potential?

He certainly has potential. I don't like him quite as much as some others although he is growing on me, particularly after his Senior Bowl performance. I've started to like him more than Bech because, although I love how good Bech is at the fundamentals of the position, I worry about his separation abilities.

I love the first 6 picks, although there's a really good chance that Carter will be gone by then. In that case, I would take Graham Mason. We could do better in the RB department in the draft though. I'd prefer (even if we have to trade late round 2026 picks), Ollie Gordon II, Devin Neal, Raheim Sanders, Ja'Quinden Jackson. In fact, we need 2 RB's out of this draft.

I'm not going to get deep into the $s but I would sign the following:

WR- Greg Dortch
RB- J.K. Dobbins
LT- Alaric Jackson
RG/RT- Mekhi Becton

NT- Poona Ford
CB- Carlton Davis
FS- Camryn Bynum

Now that I'm doing a deeper dive lol I found some more lower hanging fruits that have a connection to Vrabel.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine
Daniel Brunskill
Marlon Davidson

Don't forget Levi Onwuzurike played on the Detroit DL so has a link to new DC Terrell Williams.

Elijah Molden was drafted by vrabel in tennesee so he and Vince are familiar
