I don't get it or understand a reason for it. Very confusing and don't see how it makes the game better. Will more teams try to win now instead of folding at the all star break? I guess we will see. I get the impression Bauer is not a fan lol

There's no logical reason to keep the same number of regular-season games if this proposal ever passes...the schedule would need to be reduced to the old 8 teams/per league season of 154 games, at most.
