Like I was telling Jim Beankie …I’d be surprised if Milton is backup here next year because other teams need QB now and even though he is still raw in a lot of ways, he has a huge upside and incredible athleticism!!!! Even though I hope he’s still a Patriot next year , wish Joe best of luck either way…!!!

I can’t imagine that he’s increased his value to the point where an offer will exceed his value to the team as a backup.

If you need someone to ball out for a couple of drives against 4th stringers playing vanilla defence while not trying, then give JM3 a try.

Kinda reminds me of Will Grier who went batshit crazy and threw for something like 30/33 for 400 yards and 5 tds in preseason. Everything depends on the level and effort of the opposition.

JM3 should stay here and keep learning.

Yes but a regular season game versus backups on a playoff team is not the samething as playing the last game in preseason where most of the guys don't belong on a NFL roster

I'd rather keep him barring something crazy being offered. Hard to imagine his value changed all that much from a late day 3 pick.

I am guessing those inquiries right now are along the lines of “hey that kid looked good, how about a 4th?”
Could be….by draft day some teams might offer up a 2nd. I feel like the kid has improved over since beginning of the year with reads etc. He has intangibles you can’t coach as well and can make throws most QB can’t or shouldn’t ! Will be interesting!

They are Not moving him at this time RK said we have Two QBs.

JM has abso gotten better since camp. We have 2 QBs that were correctly developed and AVP and TC McCartney deserve credit for this. I say unless we get blown away from a team with a package then hold on to him and continue to allow him to develop.

Here’s how much I want to trade him. A 1 and a 3 in the 2025 draft and a 1 in the 2026 draft and he’s yours!
I can see Seattle wanting him.. he fits thier offense. If they offer us a 3rd rounder and DK Metcalf for him do you do it?

Any pick in the top 70.

Otherwise, any decent backup's value is 120+

I'll be honest. I think Milton has an outside chance of being the better of our 2 young quarterbacks. Not a huge possibility, but not zero either

Milton's nowhere near as polished or game-ready right now, but the raw tools are simply better than Maye's. I want to keep him. He may come in handy in case Maye gets hurt, and he's worth developing.

The fact that other teams are sniffing around kinda hardens my resolve. They're seeing what I'm seeing.

For pick #193, JM is a great asset for this team or as future draft capital.
Small body of work against a watered down team, but nonetheless much better than expected...
This may allow the Pats move on from Jacoby, instead keeping a 3rd emergency GB on the practice squad..

In which case they should just say no thanks and keep developing him. Then they should draft another high upside project to be their 3rd string QB to develop. Milton stays until another team makes it worth their while to part with him, which should be in 26’.

I was on the trade him now if there's an offer train, given the huge need for draft picks, but thinking right, they would have to spend a pick or money on another backup QB so why? if we bring a competent offensive staff, keep developing him, use him in some packages, tricky plays etc.
