McGinest or Seymour? - Which would you want to see our #1 draft pick resemble?

No, there are a number of people who feel the way you do about Dunlap, the issue isn't his ability. He's one of three players whom I see with similar skills sets to Big Willie
Dunlap. Griffen. Wooten.

How'd I do ?

I'd guess at Dunlap, Greg Hardy, and then I'm not sure on the other.

Oh. Err...umm...

Dunlap, Morgan and...ok, maybe Wootton. Or Lane?

:bricks:
Oh, yeah, Morgan, I eliminated him as he'll be gone by #22 but that wasn't part of the game.

McGinist in his PRIME, i think a lot of people on here saw Willie M at the end of his career. For a half of his career he was injured a lot. But when WM was on he could attack from anywhere making him more versital than Seymour. Or it could have been dthat he was helped by Seymour presance

Maybe we should try it this way: which pair would you feel more comfortable lining up with?

A. McGinest + Wright/Lewis

B. Seymour + Woods/Crable

Willie was listed as 6'5" 270 on NE's roster. He certainly looked to be all of 6'5", Dunlap and Wootton both hover around the 6'6" mark and cross the 270 threshold. Griffen, Morgan, and Hardy all fall a bit short height-wise. The third guy actually gets compared to Willie at one of our favorite draftynik sites.

This isn't a drafting guess, it's merely a comparison quest.

Velly interesting, I'd take A at this point.

Ok, I'll play along (as BOR quietly chuckles)

Morgan, Dunlap, JPP

:rocker:

I agree with Wooton, but how is Dunlap and JPP similar to McGinest besides height and 40 speed?
Skill set, Dunlap's attitude/work ethic may not match, but we're were talking similar size and skill sets.
