Thanks for posting that. It was a great interview. Willie made a great point, a point that I've made but people rarely give it much credit. The Camera can't play the game for you on the field. I keep going back to that 2000 season. WE won 5 games that year. How come these so called signals didn't help our overall record? Very simple answer. OUR TEAM SUCKED. I went back and watched those highlights or lowlights. It was very clear that our 2000 Patriots lacked TALENT. I don't care how much film you have, if a team doesn't have the players to compete on the field, they are not going to win many games. JMO.

I just think I should add, the next year we were pretty damn good. I'm guessing it takes time to digest the relationships between signals, down and distance, formations, and motion. All of a sudden, our sub-par corners played like superstars for the next several years.

Moron. I guess we needed the first two games for further digestion too, right - then, just coincidently, Brady starts right when we understand the signals.
