OK fine, just put him in the dog house for the season so I don't have to watch that nightmare unfold before my eyes. What I have witnessed this season is 10x worse than anything Duane Starks, Ellis Hobbs, and Darius Butler are guilty of.

McCourty: Dying behind the play?

I've viewed and reviewed the CBS plays to Mccourty... I'm hardy an expert, but it seems like Devon is reacting to most of the plays.
I can understand, each team wants to have their #1 receiver on the #1 db; and McCourty struggles lately one-on-one against the giants of the league; but (my oninion, here) he doesn't have the cut agility or the angle of a shutdown corner (Asante, that fool on the Jersey Jets, Ass-em-goe).
Devon may be trying to compensate for an overall weak secondary.
I'm ignorant. Educate me.

This is possibly the most shocking thing to me. Wasn't he supposedly a semi lockdown CB by the end of last year? This year teams are throwing his way more than ever.

Can't blame this week on lack of pass rush (even though it was putrid), he flat out got toasted this week. And he wasn't going up against 'superhuman' WR's like Marshall and Jackson. The man is having a poor year, needs to pick it up.

Not to heap it on the kid but this weak i will give some of the haters on here their dues. He was torched consistently 1-1 out there today by more than one receiver.

Hopefully the kid can turn it around
