should start a fire Chad Jackson protest at the next home game. Give the kid some credit he did what was ask of him today. If you know more the Belichick maybe you can talk kraft into giving you the job. If the Coaches thought he was ready for more they would do it. Hell Holmes does not even have a td so far and has played in every game. In 2003 guess where Jackson was? High School. Give him a chance he will be star wait and see.

Hey, I'm on the Chad Jackson bandwagon. The guy's mad exciting. I'm really looking forward to seeing him progress.

I have a nice dinner plate of crow ready to serve for all the naysayers. I thought today would be a nice day to dish some of it out, but apparently his performance actually just convinced people he's like Bethel Johnson...

i agree..what do u expect from a rookie who just got off the injury report. he showcased talent and thats a start.

what makes him look like bethel..? that hes got blazing speed or thats hes a 2nd rounder. or that he used the speed to run a deep route?

CJ was impressive. He has #1 WR, pro bowl and all-pro written all over him. Watching him develop will be fun.

Dude, chill! There is like one person at this entire website that was dumb enough to start a Chad=Bethel thread. The rest of us have been eagerly awaiting him getting into the game as well as defending him from a local reporter.

This thread is just as reactionary as the other stupid thread about Chad=Bethel.

You are clearly a Jackson Homie, which is cool, but you should go vent on the other thread since it seems to be pissing you off.

We like Jackson here. All is good with the world.

Not talking to fans like you but there's more than one who has been all over Chad. I guess growing up in the same town and same high school I just get a let touchy.

I'm cool with that, but I really don't think that many fans here are anti-Chad. We've been begging to see him play more.

BB will utilize CJ's talent to help the team ASAP. he will give him as much of a role as he is ready to assume and as much as he EARNS.

It is more important that he be up to spped for the playoffs.

The O is showing progress week to week as are the WR's, not sure why everyone wants instant gratification that's not the way the NFL works.

Chad is like an awesome Christmas gift that we haven't been able to unwrap yet.

if its wrapped..how do u know its an awesome gift

unless u peeked!

Chad is in for a long winter. What was the temperature in Buffalo today, 40-50 degrees? I noticed he was wearing a hand warmer on his waste during the game. What is he going to do in December and January? He'll be running around in a snowsuit.

Sorry, Chad's mom...no one will say anything bad about him any more.

He will freeze his black Alabama ass off is what will happen. He has never played in a game much below 50 degrees. Maybe the state title game in 2001might have been in the 40's.

i saw being sarcastic. im a huge CJ fan ... love his speed and strength

1 idiot said something and he got what he had coming to him. So chill bro, we are all excited about him.

Ok, lets put everything into perspective, people. Chad Jackson is a rookie. An injured (until very recently) rookie. While only one bozo on this forum was stupid enough to draw parallels to Bethel Johnson, we need not rush to name him rookie of the year just yet either. He is a rookie work in progress. He shows great promise and potential. Enough so to get us excited about his fullfilment of same. But it is far to early to pass judgement either way on this kid. I too was hoping to see more from the kid today. What we saw looked promising and showed some development. He was actually working into the short game, and if it wasn't for the stellar play of the two way d back (that umpire really showed something out there today, didn't he? ), he probably would have turned that one north and got some good yards out of it. It was a start. And thats all it was. Lets hope for more progress as the weeks go on.

I think he had a good game, if he continues to improve each week the pats have something. if there is no improvement and i'm not talking stats, then there is cause for concern. it's all about improving and building off each week

I haven't read the Chad=Bethel thread so I don't know if this has been mentioned but it's not like Jackson just ran a straight ahead deep right. It looked like his route was more of a double move which made the DB kinda lose track of him. I think this is meaningful because it shows he's not just a straight ahead, deep WR like Bethel was, but he can actually use route running to his advantage.
