On paper the passing game looks absolutely amazing!

Gronkowski, Edelman, Cooks, White, Lewis, Hogan, Mitchell, Allen, and Amendola. Wow!

Let's continue to improve the OLine to keep the GOAT upright and maybe bring in another big back.

I'm thinking that Brady has maximum wood right about now. :)

This draft doesn't appear to have OL highly rated so there should be some good prospects available after the top forty picks go off the board. I think they will go after OL in this draft.

Maximum wood will only be achieved if we resign Hightower, keep Butler, and bring in 1980's Jaclyn Smith to the cheerleading squad.

I don't think he has maximum wood yet. Right now, I think he might have the kind of chub you get when you beat it a little bit to add size and girth before you're about to send a pic of it for the first time to some girl you met on Tinder. Not that I would know anything about that.

Only one man ever achieved true maximum wood, Robert Wagner. He had so much that it wouldn't float.

Who is Maximum Wood and what position does he play?

Who is this, a porn actor?

So what you're saying is he's stood back there looking at the spread formation, ready to pump a couple of times and release a deep one?

I think the only question is if his primary read is going to run the 6 or the 9 route.

I believe Mangold can be had on a 1-2 year deal for cheap and we should go for him. He can still play at a high level and will solve our IOL issues instantly.

Part of me dislikes geeking out about offense and WRs and all the weapons we have. Probably cause it is so over hyped by the media. Yes they will talk forever about WRs and RBs and how great they are but when it comes to IOL or LBs who don't pass rush or run defending DTs they can't give 5 seconds?

That being said I am very excited about what Cooks will bring particularly when Gronk is on the field. I think Cooks is going to have an amazing year. He on the Saints got targeted 120 times on average the past 2 years for about 80 catches. I expect him to be more featured and put in a spot to get YAC. Even if Gronk stays healthy all year I expect Cooks to get big time yards and looks. Edelman is going to get a little less and be the 3rd option but be very good there.

Assuming health.

Cooks 1300 yards 95 receptions
Gronk 1100 yards 60 receptions
Edelman 1000 yards 80 receptions

Mitchell/Hogan will be left to get what they can and after thoughts on most plays. Allen will do more blocking than we think. I suspect White's role to increase again even as Lewis gets healthier.

I think their top 5 options are (on passing downs) Cooks, Gronk, Edelman, White, Hogan. That is hard to defend.

Max Wood was an OK right tackle but couldn't block Reggie White.
