dont know about hard knocks since i havent watched it but i always found his act to be a little phony when he looks like taking blame for everything and being a nice guy etc etc

To be fair the EXACT same thing can be said of Tom Brady. I don't think that knowing what to do say to media or to different people, and being selective with your words, makes someone phony.
