Unless it's something stupid like 20 mil a year all guaranteed, I don't think there's a number I would be unhappy with.

Absolutely!!!! Mike the belief, and buy-in is at heights probably not seen since Brady in the organization. Guys especially the rookies like Woodson, Campbell, Henderson, Williams all see what rewards can happen for a player that works hard to commits themselves. Glad Marcus got rewarded now instead of the offseason would hate to have lost him in FA.

Awesome. This is exactly the type of player that you want to extend. Young, explosive, and improving. His punt returns are great, and steal the spotlight, but his play in the secondary has really improved as well. Great move.

I don’t think they can extend boutte until next year, but they should get that done as soon as theyre eligible to. The longer you wait the higher the price goes

Not too bad. He's really been a huge breakout piece this year. Not that he had been bad before, but maybe a bit uneven or just not anything special. I know Carlton Davis catches some flack here but I do think having an actual starting caliber CB across from Gonzo has allowed them to keep Jones in situations he belongs in, where maybe he was asked to go a bit out of his comfort zone in past years.

Im not 100% sure but i think it did come up with the Gonzo discussions that the 23 class cant be extended yet

Agreed. Having Davis and gonzo on the outside definitely allows Marcus to play more naturally in the slot where he's most impactful. I've given some criticism to both gonzo and Davis but they look to have stepped up and are looking like the guys we thought they were..

Unless it is a running back or some fat run stuffer I don't care what we pay any of them. It isn't my money and the cap is crap.

Nice to have these 3 locked up through the 2027 season. Gonzo and Marcus should be around much longer but itll be nice if we can find a davis replacement within the next couple drafts, Davis will be 31 then.

Yes I like Davis. I really had high hopes for Austin had a fantastic camp and had pretty much been relegated to back up garbage time duty.. he would have been the perfect guy to make it easier to move on from Davis next season.. still believe we should draft A CB. Davis is 28 on a 2 year deal..
