New England cut tight end Marcellus Rivers on Saturday to make room for Rodney Harrison, but Rivers likely isn't going far: he was spotted in the media dining area with several other inactive and practice squad players.

I wouldn't miss Chad but I would expect Eckel to be cut and re-signed to the PS once Maroney is back.

What if Faulk is seriously injured, B? He didn't return after he went out of the game. That's something to keep an eye on too. We might still need Eckel if Faulk is hurt.
