But the fact is that the colts don't have much of a running game, and the team rides on the backs of Manning, Wayne and Clark.
So why wasn't the opposite taken into account all the years that Manning had a complete offense (Wayne, Harrison, Clark, Edge, Faulk) while Brady had nothing (Brown, Pattern, Caldwell, A. Smith).
Thats the annoying part of this arguement. The claim is Manning has no running game, yet for years Brady had no running game and no top receivers and he still had stats comparable to the top QBs in the league and was never talked about in the MVP race. Last season it was Manning was coming off an injury and the Colts had a bad start and once Manning started to play well, so did the Colts. Well it looks like that is the case for the Pats and Brady so far this season. So I guess we'll see if the people who vote for the MVP take that into account this season. My guess is they won't.
