It would a trade of THEIR #3 edge, vs our #3 wide out. Why give them anything else. Need for need and a win/win for both teamsThis may just be hopeful thinking but with two of our Edge rushers questionable, I would think Wolf will be looking to see who might be available via trade
Kayvon Thibodeaux is now 3rd on the Giants depth chart and has been the subject of trade talk with the drafting of Carter
Meanwhile the Giants could use some depth at WR and we have Boutte available for trade. While ESPN's Dan Graziano thinks we could get him for a 5th round pick that may be too low but Boutte plus a 5th rounder seems like it could be feasible
The New York Giants could be low on wide receivers this season...
Joe DeLeone talks about the New York Giants wide receiver room, and how it could be horrible without Malik Nabers. With only Darnell Mooney, Calvin Austin, Malachi Fields, Darius Slayton, the Giants could be in trouble.sports.yahoo.com
NFL = Not For Long. If he wants to get paid (which he does) I’m all for it. This game is unforgiving; and he’s earned it with elite play. Especially in the playoffs.Showing up and not partcipating or going through the motions is like not being present at all.
Gonzo has 2 years remaining on his original contract.
Same thing I thought. We didn’t draft him third overall for this…What’s wrong with Maye ? 3 incompletions ? Cmon man !
Boutte has had to deal with more trade rumors and talk than probably any Patriot and he handles it with class and poise…..I hope Pats keep him as he seems to get better every year ….if not I hope he goes to a team where he fits in great and they really want him there. Time will tell how great a player he will become but he is still young and improving! From the article:
It seems like his head is in the right place. He had a great opportunity to talk about wanting out, and he didn't take it. He had the opportunity to do a hold-out or a hold-in, he isn't taking it. He realizes he doesn't have a lot of leverage and he's going to have to wait to see how things play out.
Yet, I'm sure the sports talk idiots will find a way to spin it...
Is dipre really ahead of Raridon?I figured I'd post the roster as it stands, I believe this is correct... though I may have missed someone.

If they keep Boutte, man this WR corps would be extremely DEEP and talented. Brown, Doubs, Williams, Boutte, Hollins & Douglas. Obviously Brown and Doubs are our top 2, Boutte was our best deep threat last year. Hollins was a beast as a blocker and a decent receiver, trusted by Maye. Douglas had Maye’s trust as well as a slot. Williams, hopefully he has a good 2nd year jump.Boutte has had to deal with more trade rumors and talk than probably any Patriot and he handles it with class and poise…..I hope Pats keep him as he seems to get better every year ….if not I hope he goes to a team where he fits in great and they really want him there.
