I hope it isn't a health scare. Would be a shame if he retires. I'm forever grateful for his INT in the Super Bowl ending the 10 year drought as losing another Super Bowl like that would've been horrific. Was a stud for the Pats in 2015 as a first year full time starter.

In 7 years he has made 42 Million, and if he was wise with his money should be pretty much all set for a while.

Yikes! Patricia pulling that card out was not a good look. He was really bad in Detroit and the media did not like him. They also had search teams out for Trey Flowers. I also got distracted look at Meredith Gorman in that video.

Always liked MB. Played well, well above his (non)draft status. And he was more than the INT. In 2015 (an excellent squad until the tsunami of injuries) he was very good as well.

My friend was actually one of their tickets/concessions managers. He traveled with the team to the Super Bowl.

While staying at the team hotel prior to SB52, Butler ordered room service and noted that an automatic 23% gratuity had already been added. He therefore declined to write-in an extra tip. The bellman was furious and complained to BB, who called an emergency staff meeting. The staff voted to suspend Butler but keep him active in case of an injury.

Rumors were they wanted him gone during the first training camp.

It was speculated he signed Flowers in pure desperation to help get the locker room under control. That will probably go down as the worst FA signing of all time.
