I bet these dudes are tired of getting told they suck when they rarely even get a chance to do anything. Yeah, the OL hasn’t been good, but even they’re not getting beaten on every play. They’ve protected long enough plenty of times and Mac’s done nothing with it besides crap on himself. Linemen probably wonder why they bother, and the receivers wonder why they bother if the QB needs the cleanest, longest-lasting, most perfect and stable 5+ second pocket with no one in his line of sight to be able to make a competent throw. This is why I think a QB change makes sense, because it at least gives them hope that the next guy would be giving a real effort.
