Seems like a strong candidate be our next QB imo, very accurate and can make those tight throws, not only that there was an article recently where he talked about how hes the biggest Brady fan and and trys to do everything that he does which tells me he would be all in on the Patriot Way (Which is very important), I think he's projected to go in the second round, in terms of what we could realistically draft seems like a strong suit, and with couple years on the bench with the goats could be a steal down the road

Washington State QB Luke Falk is a big Tom Brady fan

Highlights

He has a weak arm, don't want

Haven't watched much of him myself but from what I am reading he's slow on his reads, doesn't throw downfield, doesn't really have a great arm, and his stats are inflated by the offense he runs - which also is a system that hasn't really produced top QB talent in this league.

Might be worth it as a 4th round project but not before.

We have a draft board, where prospects are being discussed by very qualified posters.

Looked like a candidate for 1st overall pick as a sophomore and hasn't gotten any better. Good pro quarterbacks don't level off like that. He also takes a ton of bad sacks and doesn't throw the ball downfield at all. Has a chance of making it as a popgun arm type low-level starter but I just don't think he's all that good. It's tough to find a starting QB after the 1st or 2nd round. If the Patriots want a Brady replacement, it's going to have to be with the 1st rounder or the 49ers 2nd.

We should trade up or not bother till next year when less teams should be looking for QBs

I'm thinking this might not be the best year for drafting a QB. Too many QBs going to be drafted before our first pick. How many starters do you expect to come out of one draft?

Obviously this is a general statement and if you like a player when it's your turn to pick you don't worry about who got picked ahead of him. Just a numbers game to me.

We got the 6th qb drafted in the 6th rd once. 6 could go in the first 2 rds this year.

Or even better Brady plays past 45 and is still GOAT

I would love to see Belichick double dip at QB, and address other issues in FA. I could see Mason Rudolph either at 31 or 43, and Lauletta in the 4th-5th round. Let them fight it out over the next few years.

If you don’t select a QB, you’re banking on three more years of Brady as your starter, since it will take 2 to develop the new guy.

People were very leery of seeing Garoppolo start a game and that was in year 3. It takes awhile to learn this system. Just not sure that we can safely depend on 3 more seasons of Brady by waiting until next year to draft another QB.
