Now we know that Irsay has meddled with the affairs of the team; the question is why?

A blowout would not only be devastating to Luck's confidence, but also spell the death knoll for Pagano. Three losses in the next four games heading into the bye would probably do it. Perhaps this is what Irsay hopes to happen so he can get a high profile coach in there for next season, preferably one who has had some success against BB in the past.
