low grade rumor: Redskins FA safety Laron Landry considering Pats

This would be a very good thing for us to sign Landry. Let's hope to hell we get him!!!

I doubt if he lasts until Halloween. Not exactly the centerfielder type we need. Injury prone. Ugh.

Is Landry really worth it? He just doesn't appeal to me for some reason. He seems to always be injured.

But what if Landry promised that he wouldn't get injured this year. Would that help to ease your concerns?

He's like a better version of Meriweather but 4x as fragile.

Investing big dollars into injury prone players is not a good investment.
Thats my only concern.

There was a rumor that Landry once broke a rib while sneezing.......

Started 47 of the first 48 games of his career. He has missed half of each of the last 2 seasons. I haven't been following closely, but it seems he is not in the Bob Sanders/Bret Lockett category. I'm not sure he presents a larger injury risk than any other player at this point, depending on what his past injuries were.

His last two seasons have ended with Achilles injuries. Even if we go after him (I have my doubts), Belichick should not stop adding depth to the safety position. The last thing I want to see next year is James Ihedigbo getting significant playing time.

He's missed time in each of the past two seasons with the same Achilles injury. I believe he was asked to get surgery last offseason but refused. He's absolutely a higher injury risk than other players.

I'd be surprised if this guy is not on some sort of PED.

Can't imagine the extra weight he's put on is good for his achilles.

WTF areyoukidding? Is that him!? There is no way in hell he isn't on some substance. He looks like a professional bodybuilder!

He claims to be 218 pounds right now :lol2:

How'd that picture of me get on the internet?

Hopefully he is considering us and not the other way around. I want someone who has the speed to close on the ball, not someone who looks like he's ready to bench Ted Washington 40 times.
