Lousy day at practice.

Wait they are reporting that we played badly? We already lost? Huh?

Yeah, but what's that old sports saying, you play how you practice?

Fred Smerlas on WEEI was talking about this earlier, said when he was with the Bills in the midst of a 10 game losing streak the HC was puzzled because they had been practicing good.

does this mean that we practiced bad?

I heard the Giants practiced "semi-decent", does that mean we are screwed?

Practice doesn't make perfect, PERFECT practice makes perfect.

:bricks:

I am sure this isn't the first lousy practice in the 18-0 run, it is just the first lousy practice under the scrutiny of every media person from ESPN to wedding gown wearing mexicans....

Practice? We talkin' 'bout practice. Not the game, man. Practice. We talkin' 'bout practice

practice? PRACTICE?

not a GAME. PRACTICE.

We talkin' bout PRACTICE?

damn it you beat me to it
i am shocked it took 2 pages for someone to say it though

On hearing that the Patriots were having a bad day of practice, the Giants and their fans took some time to stop and celebrate.

I look forward to Thursday and Friday practice report. This Sunday is going to be bloody.

Perhaps the panic has been averted?!?!?

From Reis today:

"The following is today's pool report from practice, from Dan Pompei of the Chicago Tribune:

Quarterback Tom Brady's ankle injury continued to look like a non-factor in practice Thursday. Brady moved well, threw well and did not appear to limp. His ankle was not taped over his shoe.

Receiver Jabar Gaffney's participation in practice was limited because of a shoulder injury.

After an inconsistent showing Wednesday, the Patriots had a crisp practice on a sunny day at Sun Devil Stadium Thursday.

The Patriots don't always wear pads on Thursdays, but they did in preparation for Super Bowl XLII.

Coach Bill Belichick said his team practiced better. "Another day always helps," he said. "These guys care. They want to practice well. When we make mistakes we've got to correct them. They want to get it right the next time."

Asked where the team was in terms of overall preparation, Belichick said, "We're pretty close. We'll review some stuff tomorrow. There won't be hardly anything new. Just reviewing situations. We're as ready as we're going to be. We could spend four weeks preparing for the Giants. But we'll be ready to go."

God, and I was so worried that we had a crappy practice. I thought sure that meant that all our boys had "forgotten" how to play the game. Wheeeeew, false alarm.

I heard on the radio that Bill made todays practice purposely frustrating for the players. To avoid complacency and teach them that they aren't perfect.

If this is true -- he really is a genius

I hear that and it doesn't surprise me....I am going to enjoy every minute with BB and Brady!

You've got to love BB! 18-0, 1 game away from perfection, and he is still hard on the team to get better and improve.

Good news in my opinion.
