No, it should not be against the rules. Also pulling someones hair to take them down should be a 15 yard flag.

No, that would be a stupid penalty. It is a players choice to have long hair, you state that it should be allowed but then you want to enforce penalties when someone abuses a player who CHOSE to grow his hair out?

If you want to penalize hair pulling then every receiver with short hair is at a disadvantage due to the rules. Get real. Using the hair to tackle is nobodies fault except for the player with the long hair. It should never be illegal to use it to tackle.

F*** off. It doesn't matter what you say.

i think all players should have a hair cut or wig piece like Goodell's, end of story.

Agreed. These guys have been playing football since junior high. It's dangerous to wear long hair, and they know it. Taking a guy down by the hairs - the short ones or the long ones should be legal.

Your point about the penalty is correct as well. If a player wears long hair and can somehow draw a flag on his opponent that a guy with short hair cannot, it is an unfair advantage to the long haired guy.

Besides, Brady has played much better since he got his Euro-look cut off.

???? He had the long hair all last year and had a 4:1 TD/INT ratio, and he kicked arse at the beginning of this season. He's played significantly worse since cutting his hair.

Long hair 2010 loses not one but two games to the Jets including a devastating playoff loss

Short hair - beats Jets twice

Capital Punishment style or NCAA style?
Dismemberment live on Monday Night Countdown with d-bag Carter moaning, "C'mon, man", while old man Ditka pleasures himself.

NO I do not think the nfl should be able to control what you look like

Go Pats go!

About 72% "No", 26% "Yes" right now.

Pretty one-sided IMHO.

If guys want to give tacklers one more thing to drag them by down, then why tell them they can't? The NFL already overregulates everything, no need to go even further.
